BIL's Afghan

Okay, since this little description didn't make it through the first time . . .

This afghan was done in US Single Crochet and Puff Stitch. For the Single Crochet, I used avariegated blue, and for the Puff Stitch, I used 4 different solid shades of blue, going from very dark to light; the detail pic has a shot of this close-up. I developed this pattern on my own, and it made a heavy afghan. Since I don't time my crocheting, I don't really know how long this took to make, but I do know it spent at least a few months langishing in the process. I actually finished this sucker back at my last apartment, except for the fringe, which I added this month. I can't recall what size hook I used.
